Founder and Principal Advisor
Dr. Velma Ricketts Walker is a customs, trade and border governance leader whose career spans national institutional reform, international standard-setting and executive board service. As former Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner of the Jamaica Customs Agency, she carried accountability for revenue performance, trade facilitation, border security and organisational reform.
Her international service includes roles as an IMF Revenue Administration Adviser and Chair of the World Customs Organization’s Capacity Building Committee. She currently serves as a Board Director of the Port Authority of Jamaica and an Advisory Board Member at BorderHQ.
